We've used James twice now - once to repair my in-laws boiler when it failed over Christmas and again to convert from a system to a combi boiler at our own house, both times he did an amazing job and went above and beyond to get the work done. He clearly takes pride in his work and knows boilers inside out, picking up on some items that others who quoted didn't when quoting to replace our boiler. His prices are extremely reasonable, especially when compared to extortionate quotes we had from other local plumbers who would have missed some key items and delivered a lower quality boiler.

I was overseas just before Christmas with someone staying in my house. Extremely difficult to get hold of any help due to cold snap. My usual contact said what was necessary was too much work before Christmas. I found James and he has just been amazing and now the house is warm again. A great job and we are very grateful for a new boiler fitted on Christmas Eve.

I can’t rate James highly enough. I called lots of people today for emergency help and most didn’t answer the phone. James came to our rescue and was so professional. He really went above and beyond the call of duty. Would recommend him to anyone who needs a plumber.

Amazing ! James knows his stuff, really cares about his clients, and is in it wholly for client satisfaction. He came over yesterday evening arpound 19:00 within a couple of hous of my contacting him. The job completed this morning, first thing as he had to obtain a part which he expedited overnight. I would HIGHLY recommend James to anyone looking for an expert, who can diagnose over the phone, and will go out of his way to get things done.

James was incredible. Called him on Sunday night and he was there the next day. In the meantime he advised me what to do to avoid further problems, and kept me updated as to his arrival during the day Once on site he was professional, courteous, thorough, and took efforts to understand the least invasive fix possible. We were able to cap off a pipe to stop the issue and will fix the burst pipe at a later date as it's non-essential

James was able to come within 20 minutes even though it was 6.00am and the middle of a cold snap with much demand for such work. The job was done efficiently, quickly and cheerfully. And now everything is working perfectly. Very good service.

James was amazing. Our heating broke on the coldest day of the year (of course) at -3 degrees! He was with us in about half an hour and had us up and running again in no time. What a relief and what a gent.

Without doubt the best customer service I have averaged received from a company of this type. Boiler failed 20 mins before we were due to go to London with our daughter and I had my elderly in-laws staying. James was at our house within 20 mins of me calling. He diagnosed the problem and came back early the next morning to get us back up and running. Really nice guy and an absolute pleasure to do business with. Very reasonable charge for what was exemplary service. Would highly recommend as a trusted supplier.

We had no heating or hot water all week and our plumber had let us down twice to cancel. I called James on Friday evening and he came within the hour. He worked late into the evening to finish the job. He is an absolute star. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Sorted a heat problem with the shower, replaced a broken flush and serviced the boiler. James is very reliable, trustworthy and courteous and offers a 24 hour emergency service. I have no hesitation in recommending him.

Outstanding. We had used James for a couple of smaller jobs and were impressed enough to ask him to put in a Megaflow. He noted we had a water pressure issue and suggested putting in a new mains connection. He subcontracted that to a great crew and it made a massive difference (so great suggestion). Meanwhile he did a top class job on the Megaflow and sorted out a few follow up issues. Really nice guy - pleasure to deal with. Really seems to know his stuff.

We had water pouring through the ceiling. James within 20 minutes, diagnosed the problem immediately and was able to fix the joint without ripping up floor boards or cutting into ceilings. Such a great attitude.

I noticed a water pouring from an expansion vessel on top on my Megaflow on a Saturday evening at 11.30pm. I turned off the water for the night. First thing Sunday morning, I contacted James. He identified the problem on WhatsApp pictures and was round within an hour to fix the problem. Great service for a Sunday morning emergency call out! I would highly recommend.

James came out on the same day even though it wasn’t an emergency, which was highly appreciated. Diagnosis and cost was quick and simple after which the job was completed quick but efficiently. James even helped rectify a mistake a gas safe engineer made with a water tank. Highly appreciated and definitely would recommend.

Having helped us with an emergency under the kitchen sink and fitted a replacement pipe, James returned to deal with several diverse unrelated problems which had seemed beyond our previous plumber. James then resourced and fitted a new Boiler. He worked rapidly. From time to time, we watched the progress of his work. It was neat, well-organised and impeccable.

James came out on an emergency call to fix a fractured copper pipe under the sink. He arrived within 30 minutes and replaced the damaged pipework quickly and efficiently. He was very friendly and happy to fully explain the necessary steps required needed for this repair, as well as give advice on other plumbing issues. We would definitely use James again when in need of a plumber.

James was excellent, got the job done quickly and for a reasonable price given it was a call-out. Also threw in a bit of plumbing advice for free, I will be using KT Gas again!

James came to look at our underfloor heating on a Saturday morning which had confused just about everybody else. He quickly diagnosed the problem, worked really hard to try a solution which was not guaranteed to fix the problem. His efforts were rewarded and our floor is now warm again. It has already made such a difference to the house. He is obviously a skilled plumber but also polite, explained everything really well, on time on a Saturday morning, local and I would definitely recommend him.

After our boiler stopped working on the coldest night, we called KT Gas after being recommended James. James arrived the following morning first thing, and replaced the PCB circuit board, we were back up and running within 30mins. I would recommend KT Gas to anyone needed plumbing or heating. James was professional, friendly, punctual and great value.

James, responded quickly, was here within the hour and quickly diagnosed and fixed a few issues with our boiler including fixing a leak and replacing the magna clean. He worked quickly and tidily. Was knowledgeble and friendly.

KT Gas were the only plumbers who answered our call out of the 10 we called in our area who list on chekatrade as 24 hour. We needed emergency help late at night as our boiler stopped working and we have young children. They attended within 30 minutes and fixed the problem within an hour. Weve since had them back to fix a leaky radiator and service our boiler. KT gas are responsive, efficient, polite and get the job done. We highly recommend them.

He had previously come out to assess and enable me to have heating after freezing for several days. I thought I needed a new Boiler but he was very honest and said a new part was all that was needed. We noticed our radiators wouldn't turn on at all, despite the boiler / hot water working perfectly fine. My boiler has a habit of playing up when the colder weather emerges. Its key that I can find someone who is reliable in these inconvenient times. KT Gas give me exactly that - reliability. I called out KT Gas this morning as a result of having no heating. James was here within the hour. 30 Minutes after that, I had a firing boiler and warm radiators. I have called out KT Gas a few times over the past few years and I have always been pleased with their service. Each time, they have diagnosed the problem in the first appointment and resolved it. After losing our heating over Christmas time and waiting on a very expensive rogue trader, James from KT Gas came to our rescue! He took time and patience to diagnose the problem and after carrying out a complete flush of our very old system, James got our heating working. He is professional, focused, hard-working, polite and explains what he’s doing fully, goes out of his way to problem-solve. So when our programmer broke, we knew we needed James. Within an hour he’d replaced our very old programmer and had us back working smoothly! Outstanding work again! Thank you James!

James came out to a faulty boiler within 20 minutes. Once the problem was diagnosed as fatal, he arranged a replacement boiler and fitted by mid afternoon. Great service and communcation

James Hymans responded very quickly to our call for help. Did pre arrival analysis and then came quickly and sorted the problem out. Replaced control panel which he’d already bought and brought with him based on the pre arrival analysis. Friendly, tidy and efficient. Happily recommend.

We had James from KT gas fit a new boiler for us and rip out our old hot water system. James made a good recommendation of where to fit the new boiler and then while we did have a delay to the work starting due to covid, completed the work to a high standard. We was responsive from the first contact, explained things reasonably well to us and did a lot of work over two days to remove our old system and fit a new boiler. I would recommend KT Gas based on my experience with them.

We called James about 11am this morning,he arrived at 12.40 and fixed the leaking tap. What a relief to find a polite, friendly, efficient guy who knows his trade !

James came out to me very late last night. I had water pouring from the boiler. He was efficient, diagnosed the problem, and sorted it. I even got a courtesy call this morning to check how I was and with a couple of suggestions on how to dry the room out to give the boiler the best chance of working again. No hot water on a Sunday morning - called KT Gas at 7am - James arrived within 15 minutes. Diagnosed the problem and replaced the faulty pump. All done within the hour.Excellent service.
